Synthetic repressilator colony with quorum sensing

Each cell carries a three-gene repressilator (Elowitz and Leibler 2000; dm/dt = -m + a/(1+p_j^n) + a0, dp/dt = b(m-p)). Cells swap the reporter-linked signal with a shared medium (rate eta) that diffuses through the 3D colony, as in the quorum-sensing coupling of McMillen et al. 2002 and Garcia-Ojalvo et al. 2004.
