White blood cells don't simply drift out of a blood vessel wherever inflammation happens — they follow a strict multistep sequence of molecular braking and gripping. This simulator renders a 3D post-capillary venule with Poiseuille flow and populates it with leukocytes that tether via selectins, roll under real catch-slip bond kinetics, get activated by chemokine signalling into firm integrin-mediated arrest, and finally transmigrate through the endothelial wall. Adjustable wall shear stress, selectin density, chemokine/integrin activation strength and circulating cell pool size let you find the physiological "sweet spot" of shear where capture, stable rolling and firm adhesion are all maximised — and see why both too little and too much blood flow shear can shut the whole cascade down.
