The 3D version of this simulator renders 240 individual monomers drifting in a box and templating onto growing fibrils. That spatial swarm is visual flavor — the physics that actually determines whether a prion trait survives or is cured lives entirely in population statistics: how many propagons exist, how long each fibril is, and how those numbers change across cell divisions. This 2D companion strips away the 3D spatial rendering and shows exactly that state directly: a live bar-chart spectrum of fibril lengths (one bar per propagon, so you can watch new bars appear at every fragmentation event and vanish at cell division) stacked above a scrolling strip chart of propagon count and free-monomer fraction over time, with each division event marked. It runs the identical stochastic elongation/fragmentation/division rules as the 3D model — same math, same threshold behavior, a genuinely different representation.
