Cas9 complex
This 2D companion runs the CRISPR-Cas9 target-search process as a continuous, self-repeating simulation rather than a manual step-through: Cas9 sweeps a genome-browser-style DNA strip end to end, checks every candidate PAM it passes, opens an R-loop only at the true target, reads the 20-nt spacer against your guide RNA design one base at a time, and rolls a weighted random check to decide whether the cut actually happens — tallying cycles, successful edits and the outcome of whichever repair pathway (NHEJ or HDR) is selected, so you can watch how seed-region mismatches and PAM-distal mismatches produce very different real-world editing rates over many attempts.
