Bioleaching: Monod Growth & Shrinking-Core Ore Extraction (2D)

This 2D companion drives the same acidophilic bioleaching process as the 3D heap through explicit bioprocess-engineering math instead of a scene to orbit: a Monod-kinetics population of iron/sulfur-oxidizing bacteria grows logistically on the exposed surface area of a charge of ore particles, each particle shrinks under a reaction-controlled shrinking-core model whose rate depends on pH, temperature and the current biofilm density, and a live chart tracks cumulative metal recovery against bacterial population so the feedback between microbial growth and mineral dissolution is directly visible.
