This simulation provides an interactive environment for learning about anxiety management techniques. It models a simplified autonomic nervous system: a sympathetic "arousal" level that spikes under stressors and relaxes back down, a heart rate driven by respiratory sinus arrhythmia, and an HRV-coherence score that responds to how you breathe. Practice paced breathing near the physiological resonance frequency of about six breaths per minute, trigger mild or strong anxiety-provoking stressors, and use a cognitive-reappraisal control — modelling a real CBT technique — to bring arousal back down faster than breathing alone, watching the effect on a live particle field of "stress" versus "calm" activity around a pulsing heart-rate core.
