Addiction Treatment Pathway Simulator

This simulation models a 150-patient addiction-treatment cohort as a discrete-time Markov chain moving between three states — active substance use, engagement in a multidisciplinary treatment program, and stable recovery. Four sliders control the real levers a treatment program has: medication-assisted treatment (MAT) coverage, behavioral-therapy intensity (CBT and group work), family and peer support, and multidisciplinary case-management staffing. Each simulated month every patient rolls against transition probabilities built from those levers, and the 3D scene shows the cohort physically migrating between three stations as outreach, retention, completion and relapse rates shift — making the abstract idea of "a multidisciplinary team improves outcomes" into something you can watch happen.
