This simulation illustrates the immunological core of organ transplantation: once a donor kidney is placed, the recipient's immune system continuously assesses it as self or foreign, and the outcome depends on how well the donor and recipient are matched, how strongly rejection is suppressed with medication, and whether blood types are compatible. Set the HLA mismatch count, immunosuppression dose and ABO compatibility, and watch T-cells patrol and attack the 3D-rendered organ while cumulative rejection risk and infection risk evolve day by day under a real hazard-rate survival model — the same statistical framework transplant teams use to reason about post-operative risk.
