Explore the core diagnostic-imaging technique that turns a raw CT scan into a readable image: windowing. This simulator builds a synthetic volumetric CT series — 24 axial slices spanning chest, upper abdomen, pelvis and thigh — each voxel carrying a physically plausible Hounsfield Unit value for air, lung, fat, muscle, organ, blood and bone. Stacked in 3D and rotatable, the slices redraw their grayscale mapping live as you drag the window center and window width sliders or jump to a clinical preset (lung, bone, soft tissue, brain, abdomen, angio), exactly reproducing the linear windowing formula radiologists use every time they read a scan. A depth slider peels the stack open slice by slice to see inside the volume.
