Histopathology Grading Lab

A pathologist reading a biopsy slide is doing quantitative geometry: how big is the nucleus relative to the cell, how much do nuclei vary in size and shape, and how many are caught mid-division. This simulator renders a 3D field of tissue built from real instanced geometry and lets you dial nuclear atypia up and down, watching the nucleus-to-cytoplasm ratio climb, mitotic figures appear in magenta, and the live Nottingham (Elston–Ellis) grade — the same three-factor score used on real pathology reports — update in real time.
