Disease Prevention Simulator

Disease prevention works by cutting the chain of transmission between infectious and susceptible people — through vaccination, hygiene and distance. This simulator models a moving population of agents: infectious people (red) can pass the disease to susceptible ones (blue) on close contact, while vaccinated (cyan) and recovered (green) agents are immune. Adjust vaccination coverage, transmission risk and social distancing to see how each strategy bends the outbreak curve, and watch the effective reproduction number R(t) cross below 1 as herd immunity takes hold.
