Pan-Tompkins QRS Detector 2D: ECG Strip-Chart & Poincaré Plot

Every consumer ECG wearable has to solve the same real-time signal-processing problem before it can say anything about arrhythmia: find the R-peak of every heartbeat in a single noisy lead, on-device, with no lag. This 2D simulation renders the classic Pan-Tompkins pipeline — bandpass filter, five-tap derivative, squaring and moving-window integration with a self-calibrating adaptive dual-threshold — as four scrolling oscilloscope strip charts driven by a synthetically generated ECG (Gaussian-sum P-QRS-T morphology with beat-to-beat sinus jitter). Dial in motion-artifact noise to see the bandpass stage fight baseline wander, or add ectopic (PVC) beats to watch the RR-interval-ratio rule flag them on a live Poincaré scatter, while readouts track instantaneous BPM, RMSSD heart-rate variability, and the running adaptive threshold the detector uses to decide "beat" versus "noise".
