Dynamic Cerebral Autoregulation (2D): Phase Portrait & Pressure-Flow Curve

This is the 2D pair of the thigh-cuff dynamic-autoregulation simulator, running the same second-order damped recovery model (in the style of Tiecks' Autoregulation Index) but rendered natively in 2D: a schematic vessel cross-section shows constriction and flow, a live phase-plane trajectory reveals whether the recovery is an overdamped glide or an underdamped spiral back to baseline, and the classic pressure-flow autoregulation curve shows how far the live operating point swings off the idealized plateau during the test and whether it makes it back. Adjust the Autoregulation Index, CO₂ and baseline pressure to compare fast well-damped recovery against slow, oscillatory or fully pressure-passive flow.
