Vector Magic
Bezier curves are the mathematical foundation of all modern design (fonts, SVG, CSS, game paths).
Formula (Quadratic):
B(t) = (1-t)²P₀ + 2(1-t)tP₁ + t²P₂
De Casteljau's algorithm:
A geometric way to build the curve. We find the point dividing segment P0-P1 in the ratio
t, then do the same for P1-P2. Join the resulting points and repeat.
First used by Pierre Bézier to design car bodies at Renault.
