Magnetosphere Lab (2D): Solar Wind vs. Dipole Field

This 2D companion renders the same sun–Earth cross-section as the 3D lab with plain Canvas2D: a dipole field shell is drawn analytically from r = L·cos²λ, compressed on the dayside and stretched into a magnetotail on the nightside by a Chapman–Ferraro-style pressure balance, while solar-wind particles deflect around the boundary and inner-belt particles bounce between magnetic mirror points to feed the aurora readout.
