Auroral Electrojet: Precipitation Energy, Conductivity & Current (2D)

This 2D companion turns the 3D Aurora Ionosphere Current scene into a side-on physics instrument: electrons stream down the dipole field into a shaded atmosphere and stop at an altitude set by the Rees range–energy relation, coloring the auroral band violet, green or red depending on precipitation energy; a live Robinson (1987) Pedersen/Hall conductance calculation and the resulting electrojet current respond in real time to energy, flux, latitude and convection electric field.
