♿ Inclusive Beekeeping: Access for Seniors and Disabled Beekeepers

This 3D adaptive apiary station shows a single hive on an adjustable-height stand beside a beekeeper who can be seated in a wheelchair, seated on a perching stool, or standing — with a long-handled tool and a mechanical hoist available to remove strain from every task.

🔬 What It Demonstrates

A translucent reach arc turns green when the hive's working height falls inside the beekeeper's comfortable zone, and red when it doesn't — showing exactly why hive stand height, posture, and tool reach all matter together.

🎮 How to Use

Raise or lower the stand, switch posture, add supers to see the hive grow taller and heavier, extend the reach tool, and toggle the hoist to watch it lift the top box instead of the beekeeper's back.

💡 Did You Know?

A full honey super can weigh 18–27kg (40–60lb) — hive lifts and split-box designs let beekeepers with limited strength manage that weight safely without giving up the hobby.
