This 2D companion watches the same propolis trap from directly above: a slotted screen grid where narrowing the gap below the bee-space threshold turns more cells active, small forager dots wander the grid and settle on active cells to deposit resin over time, and chilling then flexing the trap releases each cell's accumulated fill as flakes that fly into the collection tray — with the exact fill-rate, brittleness and yield formulas driving both the 2D and 3D version identically.
