Relay (beekeeper) Hive buffer (amber = fuller) Signal mast / base

Offline Apiary Data Relay: Store-and-Forward Sync (2D)

This 2D companion turns the 3D apiary round into a readable delay-tolerant-network diagram: hive nodes fill an amber ring as their local buffer accumulates sensor readings, a relay dot loops the route and drains each hive during a timed stop at a rate-limited sync speed, and the whole carried backlog flushes the moment it reaches the green signal-mast node. Six independent sliders — relay speed, apiary count, dwell time, data-generation rate, buffer capacity and sync transfer rate — let you push the system into two distinct failure modes: buffers too small for the round-trip time, or a sync stop too short to clear what a hive queued up, and watch delivery latency and data loss respond to each in real time.
