G6PD Deficiency Drug-Induced Hemolysis Simulator

Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency is the most common human enzyme deficiency, and the textbook example of why drug dosing must be personalized to a patient's genotype. This simulator renders a population of red blood cells in 3D, each tracking its own reduced-glutathione reserve as an oxidative drug challenge is applied. Pick a genotype — normal, one of two deficiency variants of differing severity, or a mosaic heterozygous carrier modeling random X-inactivation — dose the oxidant, and watch glutathione fall, cells change color as they're stressed, and the weakest cells lyse and vanish from circulation while hematocrit and mean glutathione readouts track the crash in real time.
