🌡️ Phase Transition
A phase transition is an abrupt change in a physical system's structure or properties — such as ice melting into water or a magnet losing its magnetism above a critical temperature — as a control parameter like temperature or pressure crosses a threshold. Near the transition point, order parameters and correlation lengths often follow universal power-law scaling.
