๐ŸŽต Fourier Transform

The Fourier transform decomposes any signal or function into a sum (or continuous spectrum) of sine and cosine waves of different frequencies, amplitudes and phases. It underlies audio analysis, image compression and signal processing by revealing which frequencies are present in a waveform that otherwise looks like meaningless noise in the time domain.
