🌪️ Entropy

Entropy is a measure of disorder, or more precisely the number of microscopic arrangements consistent with a system's observable macroscopic state. The second law of thermodynamics states that the total entropy of an isolated system never decreases, explaining why heat flows from hot to cold and why processes like mixing gases are effectively irreversible.
