🌿 Diffusion-Limited Aggregation

Diffusion-limited aggregation (DLA) is a growth process in which particles perform a random walk through a medium until they collide with and stick irreversibly to a growing cluster, building sparse, branching fractal structures with a dimension near 1.71 in two dimensions — the mechanism behind snowflakes, mineral dendrites, soot, and electrodeposited metal patterns.
