Theater Set Design Simulation

This simulator turns theatrical set design into a real geometry problem: place furniture, platforms and flats on a raked stage, then ray-trace the sightline from every seat in a raked auditorium to a downstage actor mark. Each seat is tested against every piece's bounding box with an actual slab-method ray-box intersection, so a flat placed upstage genuinely masks the rows it should mask, and steepening the auditorium rake genuinely restores sightlines it lost. Live readouts track the percentage of seats with a clear view and how many are blocked, so the tradeoffs a technical director juggles — stage rake, house rake, and where the scenery goes — are something you can turn a dial on instead of imagining.
