Inner cube (w < 0 at rest) Outer cube (w > 0 at rest) Bridging edge between cubes

Hypercube Tesseract Simulator (2D)

This 2D simulator draws a tesseract — the four-dimensional analogue of a cube — using real 4D mathematics rather than a stylized approximation: 16 vertices live at every combination of (±1,±1,±1,±1), 32 edges connect the vertices that differ in exactly one coordinate, and each frame a genuine 4D rotation matrix spins the shape in the XW, YW or ZW plane before it is perspective-projected flat onto the canvas. Choose a rotation plane, adjust the rotation speed, and change the 4D camera distance to watch the inner and outer cubes continuously grow through one another — the real visual signature of a rotating hypercube.
