Same underlying model as the 3D pair: a grid of bricks laid in a chosen masonry bond, click-to-crumble with gravity-driven rubble. The 3D source hardcodes a running bond only — this 2D companion lets you switch between four real bond patterns and see how each staggers vertical joints differently:
- Running bond — every row offset by half a brick from the one below; the most common bond, no joint lines up vertically across adjacent rows.
- Stack bond — no offset at all; every joint lines up in continuous vertical columns (structurally weak, used mostly for facing).
- Basket weave — pairs of bricks alternate orientation (horizontal pair / vertical pair) in a checkerboard, common in paving.
- Flemish bond — alternating stretcher (long face) and header (short end) bricks within each row, offset every other row — a decorative bond used on exposed brick facades.
Click a brick to shatter it into rubble fragments that fall under gravity and bounce once before settling; click "New wall" to rebuild with the current pattern and dimensions.
