Zircon (dense)
Quartz (light)
Grade-by-depth profile
This 2D companion replaces the 3D plant walkthrough with the actual separation physics: every grain in the bed carries its own real Stokes-law settling velocity, computed from its density and the slider-set grain size, and a pulsating water column (frequency, stroke amplitude) periodically loosens the bed so the faster-settling zircon can sink past the slower quartz on every cycle. A hutch up-current preferentially lifts the lighter species out, and a live depth-profile chart plus grade/recovery readouts show the concentrate quality responding — and collapsing under over-agitation — in real time, exactly as it would on a real jig.
