Volcanic Eruption Modeling — Lava Viscosity & Cooling (2D)

A cross-section companion to the 3D night-time volcano scene, built so the eruption's actual driving numbers are visible and adjustable: eruption force sets the ballistic launch speed of ash and lava bombs, effusion rate sets how often new lava packets leave the crater, and the cooling-rate slider controls how fast each packet's temperature — and therefore its Jeffreys-law flow viscosity — climbs toward the solidus and stops the flow.
