Theater Projection Mapping: Off-Axis Correction

Video projection mapping is one of the genuine technological innovations reshaping live theater over the last two decades — replacing painted backdrops with light that can be aimed, warped and recalibrated in seconds. This simulator models a real stage set as three angled flats and drives a virtual projector across an adjustable rig, letting you watch the classic "keystone" trapezoid distortion appear whenever the projector sits off to one side, then rectify it live with Robert Kooima's generalized off-axis perspective projection — the same lens-shift maths used by real CAVE displays and multi-projector stage installations.
