Crystal Growth: Diffusion-Limited Aggregation (2D)

This 2D companion trades the 3D version's fixed decorative amethyst cluster for the actual growth process behind it: a diffusion-limited-aggregation simulation where particles random-walk from a spawn ring and freeze onto a seed cluster on contact. Four real controls — supersaturation, diffusion temperature, sticking probability and nucleation-seed count — let you watch the same mechanism that governs frost, metal electrodeposits and mineral geodes tip a growing crystal from a dense faceted mass to an open dendritic branch, with a live readout of attached atoms, cluster radius and growth rate.
