Soil Water Infiltration (2D)

This 2D companion replaces the 3D version's generic slider dashboard with the real Green–Ampt infiltration model: pick a soil texture (sand, silt loam, loam or clay — each with its own saturated conductivity and suction head), set a rainfall intensity and starting moisture, then watch a cross-section of the soil column fill from the surface down as the wetting front descends, the infiltration-rate curve decays toward Ksat, and — once the rain outpaces what the soil can absorb — a ponded layer builds up on the surface exactly when the physics predicts it should.
