Droplet Microreactor Screening Array

This simulator models a segmented-flow droplet microreactor, the physical engine behind a lot of real high-throughput experimentation (HTE): two immiscible streams meet at a T-junction and pinch off into discrete nanoliter reaction droplets, each one an isolated micro-batch experiment. Tune the flow-rate ratio, total flow rate and temperature and watch droplets form, carry a catalyst loading and travel down a 3D serpentine channel, changing color as the Arrhenius rate law drives their conversion up in real time. Every droplet that reaches the inline analyzer reports its final yield into a live loading-versus-temperature heatmap, so the best conditions discovered so far emerge directly from watching the reactor run — no well plate required.
