Marble Maze Tilt

Wooden tilt labyrinths are among the oldest mechanical dexterity toys: a ball rolls freely across a walled board while the player (here, a scripted "invisible hand") tilts the whole surface on two axes to steer it. Commercial versions such as the BRIO Labyrinth (patented in the early 1900s in Sweden) and the modern 3D "Perplexus" descend from the same principle: gravity pulls the ball downhill along the tilted plane, while wall geometry and friction shape the achievable paths. Small changes in tilt angle produce large changes in rolling acceleration, which is what makes the toy hard to master by hand and satisfying to watch when automated. Momentum carried into corners easily causes overshoot into pits, exactly as simulated by the wall-collision and hole logic below.
