Bicycle-model steering
A real car's front wheels turn by a steering angle δ. Given wheelbase L and speed v, the kinematic bicycle model gives the car's yaw rate:
ψ' = (v / L) · tan(δ)
The instantaneous turning radius is R = L / tan(δ), and the lateral (centripetal) acceleration felt in the turn is a = v² / R.
