A worker bee's gut is a single, one-way tube specialised into distinct organs. Nectar and pollen collected in the field enter through the mouth and pass through the honey crop (a storage sac, not a digestive organ), the proventriculus (a muscular valve that filters solids), the midgut / ventriculus (where enzymes digest food and nutrients are absorbed), and finally the hindgut, where water is reclaimed before waste is expelled.
The honey crop is sometimes called the "honey stomach" but it isn't part of digestion at all — it's a dedicated storage tank so foragers can carry nectar back to the hive and regurgitate it to other bees via trophallaxis, or hand it off to be ripened into honey.

Nectar particles largely cycle inside the honey crop for storage, while pollen grains pass through the proventriculus valve into the midgut, where they shrink and fade as enzymes digest them and nutrients are absorbed.
Adjust nectar concentration to swell the honey crop, raise pollen protein load to feed more grains into the midgut, and toggle the proventriculus filter to see nectar and pollen mix unfiltered instead of being separated.
Only a small share of nectar a forager collects is ever digested by that bee — most is regurgitated to nestmates or ripened into honey, which is why the honey crop is often nicknamed the "honey stomach."
