Each glowing platform is an event format — conference, symposium, workshop, demonstration or international study tour. Beekeepers (the small drifting spheres) circulate between them: on arrival they dwell for a session, accrue whichever of three abilities that format favours, then pick the next stop. A conference and symposium mostly build research knowledge and networking reach; a hands-on workshop or live demonstration mostly builds practical skill; a study tour nudges all three at once, reflecting exposure to unfamiliar climates and management styles. Between sessions every ability quietly decays — self-study alone doesn't hold a candle to attending in person, but neither sticks without practice.

Attendees — how many beekeepers are on the circuit at once; more attendees make the crowd dynamics at each platform easier to read.
Format mix — bias the circuit toward hands-on workshops/demonstrations (left) or toward conferences/symposia (right); study tours are unaffected, since their appeal is about geography, not format.
Session pace — how quickly beekeepers move and finish a session; higher pace approximates a packed multi-day conference schedule.
Skill decay — how fast an unused ability fades between events, the reason repeated attendance (not just one visit) is what builds real expertise.
