🤖 Automation and Robotics in Apiary Management

A robotic gantry yard where automated arms lift hive frames toward an automatic honey extractor, alongside a human worker still handling the inspection tasks robots can't yet do.

🔬 What It Demonstrates

Robot arms move frames between hives and a spinning extractor drum; more automation deploys more arms and shifts labour away from the human inspection table, while extractor RPM controls honey spray into the collection tank.

🎮 How to Use

Raise automation level to add active robot arms, adjust arm cycle speed and extractor RPM, and toggle the human workforce to compare fully robotic and human-assisted workflows.

💡 Did You Know?

Centrifugal honey extractors have existed since the 1860s — modern "automation" mostly speeds up feeding and uncapping frames. Judging a living colony's health and mood is still a job robots can't reliably do.
