Electrostatic Precipitator: Flue-Gas Particulate Capture

An electrostatic precipitator (ESP) cleans dust-laden gas without any filter media: a high-voltage corona wire charges every particle that drifts past, and the same electric field then drags each charge sideways onto a grounded collector plate. This simulator renders a real duct section in 3D — adjustable corona voltage, plate spacing, gas velocity and particle size drive a physically grounded migration-velocity model (Stokes drag with the Cunningham slip correction) for hundreds of individually tracked particles, while a live tally of what actually reaches the outlet is compared, side by side, against the closed-form Deutsch–Anderson efficiency equation used to size real precipitators.
