Magnetic levitation gets the train off the rails, but it's a completely separate system — the linear synchronous motor (LSM) — that actually pushes it forward. This simulation renders a maglev guideway as a chain of stator coils carrying a genuine traveling magnetic wave, computed from a real supply frequency and pole pitch, with an onboard magnet array that gets dragged along behind it. A live thrust-angle model reproduces the same sin(δ) power-angle law used in any synchronous machine: push the load past the motor's peak thrust capacity and the train doesn't just slow down, it falls out of step with the wave entirely and stalls — the exact instability a real guideway control system has to prevent.
