Building an IoT device is a chain of hardware trade-offs long before a line of firmware runs: which microcontroller tier to use, which radio to solder on, how often to wake up and report, and how big a battery the enclosure can hold. This workbench turns that selection process into a live 3D build — choose an MCU tier, a radio (BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa or NB-IoT), a sample interval and a battery capacity, and watch the actual duty-cycle current draw, estimated battery life, effective range and rough bill of materials update in real time, while the board itself lights up and a compressed timeline of sleep/wake current spikes animates around it.
