Steampunk Brass Gear Mechanism
A cluster of brass and steel gears mesh along a wooden backboard, each spinning at a rate set by its tooth count so that torque and speed trade off exactly as in a real gear train. A decorative flywheel and pipework complete the industrial look.
- 5 meshing gears (12-30 teeth) + 1 flywheel
- Gear ratio: rotation speed is inversely proportional to teeth (real involute-style meshing)
- Adjacent gears spin in opposite directions, as in physical gear trains
- Procedural ExtrudeGeometry teeth profile with spoked hubs
