This simulation models one automated inspection-and-reject station the way a factory-floor engineer actually sees it: a conveyor carries parts past a photoelectric sensor, a finite-state PLC controller decides pass or reject, and a pneumatic pusher diverts defective parts into a reject bin while good parts continue to the output bin. Three real process parameters — belt speed, incoming defect rate, and mean time between faults — drive a live Availability × Performance × Quality breakdown, the same Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) formula real production lines are measured against, so you can see exactly how a single weak factor drags the combined score down.
