Waste Gasification Reactor: Syngas Yield & Composition

Municipal solid waste can be converted into a combustible fuel gas — syngas — inside a starved-air downdraft gasifier, without simply burning it to ash. This simulator renders a real 3D reactor stack with its four working zones (drying, pyrolysis, oxidation, reduction) and animates waste particles falling through them while product gas rises out through the offtake. Adjust the equivalence ratio, reactor temperature, feed moisture and throughput to see how the Boudouard, water–gas and methanation reactions trade off in real time, driving the live syngas composition (CO, H₂, CH₄, CO₂), its lower heating value and the plant's cold-gas efficiency.
