Rolling grassy hills are dotted with 12 wind turbines that convert moving air into rotational energy: wind pushes on the angled blades, spinning the rotor and nacelle atop each tower, with faster wind producing higher blade RPM. Swaying grass, drifting cloud shadows and a glowing sun sprite animate the scene over time. Only a subset of turbines needs to be visible to study the farm layout, and simulated sunlight intensity can be dialed from dusk to midday.
