Lithium Dendrite Suppression Lab

Fast lithium-metal plating is unstable: any tiny protrusion on the anode sees a locally stronger ionic flux and grows faster than the flat surface around it, so small bumps snowball into sharp dendrites that can bridge the gap to the counter-electrode and short the cell. This simulator grows a 3D lithium deposit under that same feedback loop and lets you fight it the way real cell engineers do — raise the electrolyte's film-forming additive concentration to build a more uniform SEI, or apply mechanical stack pressure to physically flatten the growth front — while a live, current-density-scaled estimate tracks how much longer the cell survives before shorting.
