Biogas Digester Simulator

This simulation models a real anaerobic-digestion biogas plant: a sealed reactor tank where methanogenic bacteria break down organic feedstock into methane-rich biogas. Set the organic loading rate, digester temperature and hydraulic retention time and watch the 3D tank respond — bubble activity, VFA buildup and a rising or falling floating gas-holder dome — while live readouts report methane yield, gas composition, holder fill, digester pH/VFA-alkalinity ratio and the electrical output a combined-heat-and-power (CHP) generator would produce from that gas. Push the loading rate too high or the temperature too far from the mesophilic/thermophilic optimum and the digester visibly sours, exactly as a real plant would.
