Building-integrated photovoltaics let architects turn a whole facade into a power plant, but every design choice trades electricity generation against how "beautiful" and daylit the building feels from the inside. This simulator renders a real grid of tiltable, tintable PV glass fins on a building facade and models the underlying physics: incidence angle between the sun and each fin, the sun's elevation through the day, and the visible-light-transmittance of the glass itself. Tilt the fins, tint the glass, and move the sun to watch power density, daily energy yield and interior daylight transmission respond in real time — and see why maximally transparent, elegant glass and maximally efficient solar glass can never be the same pane.
