Real offshore and onshore wind farms increasingly carry radar systems that track approaching flocks and automatically slow the specific turbines a bird is about to cross, trading a little energy for a large cut in collision risk. This simulator renders a six-turbine farm with a working radar tower: birds spawn at the field edge on realistic flight headings, the radar predicts which rotor each one will cross using straight-line extrapolation, and any threatened turbine ramps its rotor speed toward idle for exactly as long as the bird is in danger — everything else keeps generating at full output. A Band-model strike-risk formula ties rotor speed directly to collision probability, and live readouts track farm power, the percentage of energy given up to curtailment, and how many birds were protected versus struck.
