Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion: Cold-Water-Pipe Trade-off

This simulator models a closed-cycle ammonia-Rankine OTEC plant end to end: the thermocline sets the surface-to-deep temperature difference that caps efficiency at the Carnot limit, while the cold-water pipe that reaches that deep water is itself a parasitic load. Tune surface temperature, cold-water-pipe depth and diameter, and warm-water flow rate to watch Carnot-limited efficiency, gross turbine power, cold-water-pipe pumping loss and net electric power update live in a 3D platform-and-pipe scene, and find the depth/diameter combination that actually maximizes delivered power rather than just chasing colder water.
